Kevin's Cash is a personal financial projection and modeling tool designed to help you plan income, expenses, and visualize your cashflow over time. It is a planning tool only — not a financial service, bank, investment platform, or accounting system.
We provide software to organize and visualize your financial data. We do not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or professional financial planning services.
Kevin's Cash does not provide recommendations. All inputs, assumptions, and decisions are controlled by you. We simply calculate projections based on the data you provide.
All plan data is stored locally in your browser on your device. Kevin's Cash does not store, sync, or back up your data on any server. This is by design — your financial privacy is protected because we never have access to your data.
The consequence is that you are solely responsible for backing up your plans using the "Backup Plan" feature. Your data can be lost if you clear browser data, switch devices, update your browser, reset your device, or for any other reason. If you do not maintain backups and your data is lost, we cannot recover it — the data never existed on our systems.
All projections, balances, charts, and calculations displayed by Kevin's Cash are estimates based entirely on the data you enter. They assume that every item occurs exactly as scheduled, with no missed payments, unexpected expenses, changes in income, or other real-world variations. Actual financial outcomes will differ from projections.
Kevin's Cash does not automatically account for income tax, payroll deductions, inflation, bank fees, government benefits, exchange rates, or any other factors unless you explicitly add them as items in your plan. If you enter a salary of $80,000, the projection uses $80,000 — it does not calculate take-home pay.
Savings projections with interest rates are simplified mathematical estimates using basic compound interest formulas. They do not account for investment fees, management charges, tax on interest or capital gains, market fluctuations, inflation, or changes in interest rates over time. They are not investment projections and should not be used to make investment decisions. Consult a qualified financial advisor for investment planning.
Printed reports, exported files, and shared plans generated by Kevin's Cash are not official financial documents. They are summaries of user-entered data and calculated projections. They should not be presented to financial institutions, lenders, landlords, or any third party as verified financial statements, proof of income, or certified financial records.
If you share a plan with another person, the recipient should understand that all figures are user-entered projections, not verified financial data. We are not responsible for how shared plans are interpreted or used by third parties.
Kevin's Cash displays amounts in your selected currency for formatting purposes only. It does not perform currency conversion, validate exchange rates, or adjust amounts between currencies. All amounts are displayed exactly as you enter them.
Kevin's Cash includes starter templates to help you begin building a plan. All amounts, items, and figures in templates are fictional examples only. They do not represent real financial data, recommendations, or advice. Any resemblance to your actual financial situation is entirely coincidental.
Templates are provided solely as a convenience for data entry — a starting point to save you time. You are responsible for replacing all template amounts with your own real numbers before relying on any projections. Projections based on unmodified template data are meaningless and should not be used to make financial decisions.
By using Kevin's Cash, you agree to:
Your financial data stays on your device. Kevin's Cash does not operate its own servers. Your email address and premium subscription status are stored by Clerk, our authentication provider (Clerk Privacy Policy). All your financial data, cashflow plans, and expense tracking remains in your browser's local storage (and in any backup files you choose to download).

Maximum liability: To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims related to Kevin's Cash is limited to the amount you paid for premium access (currently $75 CAD).
The free tier is anonymous and requires no account at all — you can build and use a plan without signing up. An account is needed only to purchase or restore Premium. The free tier includes every feature; it is limited only by the item counts and projection horizon described above.
Every feature of Kevin's Cash is available in the free tier — cashflow modelling and visualisation, What-If scenario modelling, temporary changes, annual increases, savings interest, save/backup/export, and the starter-template library. Premium does not unlock any feature. What Premium does is remove the free tier's count limits and extend the projection horizon:
Premium access is available for a one-time payment of $75 CAD (subject to change). This is not a subscription — you pay once and receive permanent access to premium features.
Premium access pricing is subject to change. If pricing changes after your purchase, you retain premium access at the price you paid. New purchasers will pay the current listed price.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are limited to one per unique email address — if you purchase again after receiving a refund, that purchase is final. To request a refund, email help@kevinscash.com from the address used at purchase; on a valid request we refund the payment through Stripe and your account returns to the free tier. Your plan data stays on your device and is not affected by a refund.
Because the free tier includes every feature, we encourage you to try it before purchasing to confirm Kevin's Cash meets your needs.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. Premium access fees are not refunded in cases of account termination for violations.

The only account data associated with you — your email address and account tier (free or premium) — is held by Clerk, our authentication provider (Clerk Privacy Policy). We may disclose this limited information to law enforcement agencies or government authorities when required by valid legal process (court orders, subpoenas, or warrants) or as required by applicable Canadian law including PIPEDA.
Your financial data is not ours to share. All plans, items, scenarios, and cashflow projections are stored on your device and in any backup files you download. We do not have access to this data and cannot disclose it to any third party, including law enforcement.
Our third-party service providers (Clerk, Stripe, and our hosting provider) are based in the United States and may independently receive and comply with law enforcement requests under U.S. law. By using Kevin's Cash, you acknowledge that your account data may be subject to legal processes in both Canada and the United States.
Kevin's Cash is provided as an English-language application only. All terms, conditions, disclaimers, interface text, and documentation are written in English and are authoritative in English only.
The currency selector feature is provided for display formatting and user convenience only — it does not imply support for, compliance with, or availability in any particular country, region, or language.
If you use a third-party translation tool or browser auto-translation to access Kevin's Cash in another language, you do so at your own risk. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, misunderstandings, or misinterpretations resulting from translated content. The English-language version of all terms, disclaimers, and application text is the sole legally binding version.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Kevin's Cash after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Kevin's Cash is a business name of 3759491 Canada Inc. (Ontario BIN: [PENDING]). These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
The application is hosted on infrastructure based in the United States, with content distributed globally through our hosting provider's network. Your account data is processed by third-party services (Clerk, Stripe, and our hosting provider) also located in the United States and may be subject to U.S. laws in addition to Canadian law.
By using Kevin's Cash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
